About Me

I was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2018 and have largely practised in family law since this time. I joined the Marr Family Lawyers team as an Associate in July 2023.

I am thorough yet patient when assisting clients with their family law needs. I provide practical and personalised advice to my clients and strive to form relationships of trust and confidence. I have substantial experience and an interest in complex parenting matters and matters involving complex property structures, including business entities, trusts, self-managed super funds and family partnerships. Whilst I have a keen interest in assisting clients to resolve their family law matter in an amicable way, I also have extensive experience in court advocacy and litigation, appearing and instructing in Interim and Final Hearings. My family law practice is informed and complimented by my previous experience as a commercial and generalist lawyer, specifically the areas of business employment, contested estates, and commercial litigation.

I grew up in Adelaide before moving to the Illawarra to finish my HSC and later commence tertiary education at the University of Wollongong. Outside of work, when not spending time with my family or friends, you will find me reading or outdoor rock climbing in the South Coast or Blue Mountains Region.

I have been admitted since 2018 and have practiced in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions. I have experience in complex parenting and property matters, and have assisted a diverse range of clients.

My Experience

I commenced working as a Law Clerk in the Illawarra in 2015. I graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2018 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction), and gained my Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2018. I was then admitted to the High Court Register of Practitioners in 2018.

Using my experience in commercial practice areas, I am able to identify overlapping issues which arise in complex property matters, including issues such as insolvency, Director's liabilities, equitable interests, and competing civil claims.

I have advised a diverse range of clients in parenting matters including parents, grandparents and other significant persons including aunts and uncles. I have been instructed in property matters concerning married spouses, de-facto partners, high and low wealth asset pools, and have worked alongside other professional services to achieve holistic results for my clients.
